Community practice
Free Outdoor Yoga Every Saturday
The spot
Verdun Dancing Terrace
Honourable George O'Reilly Park
7000 Blvd. LaSalle, Verdun, Quebec H4H 1R4
Opposite Douglas Hospital, right by the water — a cool breeze off the river, birds chirping, and a peaceful view of the waterfront and trees.
Why it's free
Yoga changed how I move, breathe, and show up in the world — and I believe that kind of access should not depend on what you can afford. These classes stay free so neighbours can discover practice without pressure or paywalls.
The City of Montreal provides the space. I show up with my time and energy — no one pays me to teach. It's simply my way of sharing what practice has given me, and building something lasting together outdoors.
These classes are offered entirely on a volunteer basis — if they have added value to your life, there are a few ways to support the practice.
